This project should take 5-7 class periods depending on the class’ access to computers. Two classroom periods for the on-line research should be sufficient and then 3-4 days of classroom time for groups to create, write, edit and practice performing their fairy tale. Presentations should be held on the 6th or 7th day, depending how quickly your students work. If teachers have access to computers in the room, writing the stories in Word would be a great way to continue to include technology in this project, but not necessary.

The performances should be between 7-10 minutes per group.
